Dr. Enrique Sandoval:
Dr Sandoval is a renowned Spanish Orthopaedic Surgeon especially trained and dedicated to hip pathologies, with activity in several national and international hospitals since 2002.
He obtained the Certificate as a Fellow Member of the European Board of Orthopaedics in Genève in 2008 after passing the Board Examinations, as well as a PhD in Hip Arthroscopic Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid, qualified as Cum Laude.
His training included a one-year clinical fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Hip and Knee Surgery in The Ottawa Hospital (Canada).
Dr Sandoval expertise includes hip arthroplasty through direct anterior approach (a minimal invasive technique which avoids cutting any muscle) and hip arthroscopy for the treatment of sports-related hip problems.
In January 2025 he joined the hip surgery experts team of Hip Institute (Madrid), where he fully develops his healthcare activity now.

With a solid academic and professional background, graduated in Medicine from the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga, Colombia, homologated to the official Spanish degree of Bachelor of Medicine in 2010 and specialized in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation (MIR), from the Ramon y Cajal University Hospital in Madrid. His international experience includes a clinical observership at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in the United States, and has obtained prestigious certifications such as Train Airway Trainer of the European Airway Management Society (EAMS) / Instructor of Airway Management by the European Society, developing as a Trainer – Teacher of national courses in this area, the most recent of them in February 2024. Cardiovascular Life Support, Provider of the American Heart Association / ACLS Provider in 2023, of the American Heart Society; rigorous certification and under evaluation that is renewed biannually.
